Filed under: OSS — liviudm @ 3:22 pm

eLiberatica - The Benefits of Open and Free Technologies Conference

eLiberatica is maybe the most important Open Source event of the year 2007 in Romania. Notable speakers are Rasmus Lerdorf – the father of PHP, Monty Widenius – main engineer and supervisor of MySQL, Brian Behlendorf – on of the Apache Project initiators and Zak Greant – FLOSS evangelist.

The event will take place on May 18-19 at Brasov City and the ticket price ranges from 25EUR (for students, teachers and non-governmental representatives) to 249EUR (standard offer if tickets bought in May 2007). Registrations on January – February 2007 get a 40% discount, which means you’ll pay 149EUR for a ticket, and those made on March – April 2007 will get a 20% discount, which means 199EUR/ticket.
