I tried installing Solaris 10 on a Dell machine, but it just wouldn’t install. But I got a brand new out of the box (but manufactured two or three years ago) IBM computer this morning and am installing it on that. As I write this, it is approximately 85% installed.
After checking it out, I’ll replace it with either Fedora Core Linux, some other flavor of Linux, or OpenBSD and then when I get a chance, order a computer specifically for the purpose of running Solaris 10.
Nice blog!
